The All Souls Chapel (or Lady Chapel) is at the east end of the south aisle. The altar is of early English pattern with riddel posts, dorsal and side hangings. The posts are of gilt surmounted by gilt angels. The Rose Window, shown at the head of this page, can be seen above the painting of the Virgin Mary which was donated by Michael Maine, a former organist of the church.

. Over the steps leading to the sacristy are these two small lancet windows by James Powell depicting St. Wilfrid and St. Oswald and installed in 1915.
THE SOUTH AISLE WINDOWS
On leaving the All Souls Chapel, you will see the last two remaining large windows, both by A.O. Hemming. The first one (1884) is of the Wedding Feast at Cana, with Saints Peter, Andrew, James and John. In the tracery can be seen the Annunciation. The second window (1885) is of The Sermon on the Mount.
